Spin Master SVP Marc De Vellis upped to global head of studios for digital games
Spin Master has promoted Marc De Vellis to global head of studios for its successful digital games business.
De Vellis, formerly SVP of global digital games, will focus on development, delivery and live-service launches, while also working with Spin Master’s digital games studio GMs in managing day-to-day operations. In this expanded role, he is accountable for digital game development and delivery, according to a Spin Master spokesperson.
He’ll continue to divide his time between Stockholm, Toronto and LA.
This promotion expands on De Vellis’s previous remit as SVP to oversee strategy and operations of the company’s five digital games studios: Stockholm-based Toca Boca, Toronto-based Sago Mini (a subsidiary of Toca Boca), San Francisco’s Originator, Stockholm-based Nordlight and Stockholm-based Noid.
