          Griffin Jasper Stockley was born October 9, 1944, while his parents were living in Lake Cormorant, Mississippi. He is the last born of three children. Stockley lived in Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, until the age of two, when he moved to Marianna, Arkansas, with his family.
