John Boadu Appointed Director-General Of SIGA
In accordance with Section 17 (2) of the State Interests and Governance Authority Act, (Act ), President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed John Boadu, former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the Acting Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA).
The appointment is pending the constitutionally required advice of the governing Board of the Authority, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
Mr.
Boadu&#;s appointment was confirmed through a letter from the Office of the President, which congratulated him on his new role. The President has expressed confidence in Mr. Boadu&#;s ability to effectively lead SIGA and carry out the Authority&#;s mandate.
In response to the appointment, Mr.
John Boadu is expected to indicate his acceptance or otherwise within 14 days of receiving the appointment letter. The Secretary to the President extended the President&#;s
