She is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and music producer. Ross rose to fame as the leader of the Supremes, a vocal group she had started with her friends while still in teenagehood. This girls group rose to be Motown’s most successful venture and also the best performing female group in United States history.

As she was attending Cass Technical High School in Downtown Detroit, Diana started taking classes on clothing design, millinery, pattern making, and tailoring.

This was out of her aspiration to become a fashion designer.
