The Dallas Cowboys found out their star running back Ezekiel Elliott would be suspended for six games because of a domestic violence.

Elliott did not play or make the trip in a disciplinary move that leaves his status moving forward uncertain with the Cowboys (3-5) struggling to start the 2024 season.

The 29-year-old running back returned to Dallas after a one-year stint with the New England Patriots hoping to rejuvenate his NFL career after setting career lows in 2023.

Instead, through eight games of the 2024 campaign, he's on pace to set career lows again and part of the turmoil behind-the-scenes.
